^Lot 267 John Wayne’s Nudies Stetson Hat

Pictured on The Duke alongside Nudie in Jamie Nudie’s book on Page 40, this noteworthy Stetson features a 5” brim and 6” crown with a interior sweatband stamped “Made by Stetson especially for John Wayne” and marked “Nudies Rodeo Tailors North Hollywood, California XXXXXX Stetson Made in USA”. Excellent condition. Includes a sterling engraved hatband.
